Front End Engineer

About the role

Cohesity is seeking a Front End Engineer to craft high‑performance user interfaces for its AI‑driven data security platform. Based in Bangalore, you will work on large‑scale, distributed systems, collaborating with product, UX, and backend teams to deliver feature‑rich, scalable web applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement UI components for cloud‑native data protection services.
• Collaborate with product managers and UX designers to translate mock‑ups into functional features.
• Integrate front‑end code with backend APIs, ensuring end‑to‑end testing and quality.
• Optimize performance, handle asynchronous flows, and support infinite scalability of the UI.
• Maintain cross‑browser compatibility and address reliability concerns in distributed environments.
• Drive continuous quality improvements through automation and code reviews.

Eligibility

• 2+ years of experience building UI for large‑scale distributed systems.
• B.E or B.Tech in Computer Science (or related) with solid data structures and algorithms knowledge; a Master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong grasp of UX/UI design principles.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and modern frameworks such as React and Angular.
• Experience with the full web development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and multitasking abilities.
