Computer Scientist I (Frontend)

About the role

Adobe is seeking a skilled Frontend Computer Scientist to join its Creative Cloud team. You will design, develop, and ship high‑impact features using React.js and modern JavaScript/TypeScript, ensuring performance, scalability, and an excellent user experience for millions of users worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver robust frontend features with React.js, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Own feature lifecycle from design through testing and release.
• Write clean, secure, maintainable, and well‑tested code.
• Tackle complex engineering and architectural challenges.
• Enhance performance and scalability of existing components.
• Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to craft great user experiences.
• Explore emerging technologies and AI‑assisted development tools.

Eligibility

• 4–6 years of software development experience, strong React.js background.
• Solid grasp of data structures, algorithms, and core computer‑science concepts.
• Proficiency with modern JavaScript/TypeScript and frontend development practices.
• Understanding of software design, architecture, and performance optimization.
• Familiarity with Windows and macOS application development is a plus.
• Exposure to C++ is advantageous.
• Experience with AI development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, or Claude is beneficial.
• Curiosity, strong problem‑solving abilities, and eagerness to learn new technologies.
