(Senior) Full-Stack Engineer | Frontend-leaning | Platform Team

About the role

As a Senior Full‑Stack Engineer on the Platform team at bunch, you will design and deliver end‑to‑end product features with a strong emphasis on frontend quality while also contributing to backend services. Working remotely, you’ll shape the architecture, enhance the custom design system, and ensure high performance for a platform serving thousands of users managing billions in assets.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable full‑stack features, prioritising clean, well‑tested frontend implementations using React, TypeScript and the in‑house design system.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, QA engineers and fellow developers to ship high‑quality releases quickly.
• Advance frontend architecture and backend services built with NestJS, Node.js, MySQL and related tooling.
• Maintain and improve developer experience, performance, reliability and maintainability across the stack.
• Write comprehensive unit and end‑to‑end tests with Vitest and Playwright.
• Participate in product discovery, design critiques and feedback loops to influence the roadmap.

Eligibility

• 5+ years of experience building product applications with deep frontend expertise.
• Proficiency in TypeScript, React and modern frontend frameworks.
• Ability to contribute to NestJS backend services and work with databases such as MySQL.
• Experience with design systems and writing unit/E2E tests.
• Strong communication, teamwork and problem‑solving skills in a fast‑moving startup environment.
