About the role

Cognite is building contextual AI for industrial operations, turning complex, unstructured data such as manuals and P&IDs into actionable insights. As a Machine Learning Engineer you will develop production‑grade models and pipelines, work closely with senior engineers, and treat ML components as software services within a large‑scale architecture.

Responsibilities

Design, implement and maintain scalable data pipelines for massive industrial datasets.
Convert research prototypes into real‑time, production‑ready ML services.
Write clean, testable Python code and expose functionality through RESTful or gRPC APIs.
Containerize applications with Docker and manage Linux‑based environments.
Run experiments, fine‑tune foundational NLP and vision‑language models, and monitor model drift.
Collaborate with data scientists, product managers and senior engineers to deliver roadmap features.

Eligibility
