About the role
The AI and Automation Developer will design, build, and maintain intelligent applications, RPA bots, and automation workflows that streamline business processes. Working from HP's Bengaluru office, you will collaborate with senior developers, analysts, and cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, cloud‑enabled solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop AI‑driven applications, intelligent agents, and automation bots following approved designs.
- Write clean, reusable code and create component libraries that adhere to engineering standards.
- Implement document understanding, data extraction, validation, and business rule processing capabilities.
- Integrate solutions with APIs, enterprise systems, and databases while ensuring proper exception handling and human‑review steps.
- Support cloud deployment, configure applications, and troubleshoot infrastructure issues.
- Conduct unit and integration testing, monitor AI outputs, and resolve defects using version control, CI/CD pipelines, and logging tools.
Eligibility
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Typically 3–5 years of experience in software development, AI, RPA, or enterprise automation.
Skills
- Proficiency in Python or comparable programming languages.
- Hands‑on experience with generative AI, large language models, and prompt engineering.
- Knowledge of RPA platforms and workflow automation tools.
- Familiarity with APIs, SQL, and relational databases.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Understanding of Git, CI/CD, containerization, and application infrastructure fundamentals.
