Software Development Engineer

About the role

Clearwater Analytics is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join its Noida office. The role is ideal for candidates with a Computer Science background and at least one year of experience building software components. You will work on designing, coding, debugging, and gradually taking ownership of larger systems while learning the investment accounting domain.

Responsibilities

• Develop core software components and continuously improve coding skills.
• Collaborate with peers across the development lifecycle, from design to testing.
• Write and debug code with minimal supervision, incorporating feedback to enhance quality.
• Participate in code reviews, offering constructive input.
• Gradually acquire domain knowledge of investment accounting and FinTech solutions.

Eligibility

• Degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of professional experience building software components.
• Strong problem‑solving ability and clear communication skills.
• Proactive attitude, willingness to ask questions and learn.

Skills

• Proficiency in Java and SQL.
• Solid understanding of software design, coding, and debugging.
• Ability to work with web technologies and understand the broader software ecosystem.
