About the role

Citi is looking for a trainee Data Analyst to support its Decision Management team in Gurugram. The role blends data extraction, analysis and visual reporting using SQL, Python and modern BI tools, while you develop a solid understanding of banking data processes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine data‑administration tasks, including database queries, data quality checks and report generation.
  • Create and maintain visual dashboards in Power BI or Tableau.
  • Assist senior analysts by preparing analytical outputs and documenting procedures.
  • Follow defined risk and compliance guidelines while handling data.
  • Collaborate with the immediate team and communicate findings concisely.
