Associate Software Engineer

About the role

Celonis builds the leading platform for enterprise AI‑driven process mining. As an Associate Software Engineer you will join a team that delivers on‑premise solutions, ensures their reliability, and helps customers transition to the cloud‑based Celonis Platform.

Responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end lifecycle of on‑premise product features, from design through delivery.
• Maintain system stability, security, and keep dependencies up to date.
• Continuously improve software reliability and automate development workflows.
• Assist on‑premise customers in migrating workloads to the cloud version of Celonis.
• Mentor junior teammates and promote an inclusive engineering culture.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 1‑3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, and Hibernate frameworks.
• Experience with micro‑services, enterprise‑grade security, scalability and data consistency challenges.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, solid grasp of algorithms and complex data structures.
