About the role

The Specialist-Information Security will join Amadeus' Global Security Operations Center in Bangalore, working in a hybrid setting to protect digital assets through forensic investigations and incident response across enterprise and cloud environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead forensic investigations of ransomware, phishing, malware, insider threats and data exfiltration incidents.
  • Conduct endpoint and cloud forensics on Windows, Linux, macOS, Microsoft 365, Azure and AWS platforms.
  • Document evidence, maintain chain‑of‑custody and produce clear forensic reports for legal, HR and compliance teams.
  • Respond to security alerts from SIEM, EDR, email, cloud and IAM solutions, coordinating triage, containment and recovery.
  • Perform proactive threat hunting and enrich indicators of compromise using MITRE ATT&CK mapping.
  • Contribute to playbook enhancements, detection rule creation and knowledge sharing within the security team.

Eligibility

  • Degree in a related discipline or equivalent practical experience.
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, GCFA, GCFE, CHFI are advantageous.
  • Strong problem‑solving, communication and mentoring abilities.

Skills

  • Digital forensics and incident response expertise.
  • Hands‑on experience with SIEM/XDR tools (Microsoft Sentinel, Splunk, CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, Cortex XDR).
  • Proficiency in Windows, Linux, macOS, Microsoft 365, Azure and AWS environments.
  • Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, Cyber Kill Chain and threat‑hunting methodologies.
  • Ability to analyze malware, create IOCs and convey technical findings to diverse audiences.
