About the role
Visa is looking for a Safety/Security Specialist to join its Security Systems Solutions Engineering team in Bangalore. The role focuses on planning, designing, implementing and maintaining electronic security systems while ensuring compliance with Visa’s cyber‑security standards. You will work under a senior manager, handling system onboarding, technical security assessments, patching, and incident triage for high‑availability environments.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the Application Technology Contact for technical security assessments and audit support.
- Coordinate testing, configuration, deployment and maintenance of Visa’s Global Security Systems (GSS) and related subsystems.
- Remediate compliance findings by updating software, scripts and hardware configurations.
- Triage critical incidents such as patch failures, driver errors or system outages.
- Diagnose complex network issues involving Ethernet, routing, tunnels, NATs and related protocols.
- Configure servers and services (SSH, SFTP, HTTP, SMB, certificates) and support rollout of new technology solutions.
Eligibility
- 1‑3 years of relevant experience in systems analysis, enterprise application support or IT operations.
- Associate degree or a professional certificate in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proactive, collaborative attitude with a focus on delivering results.
Skills
- Systems analysis and technical business analysis.

- Release, program and deployment management, including CI/CD pipelines.
