IT Support Engineer Intern

About the role

The IT Support Engineer Intern will join Zycus' IT Operations team in Bangalore, providing day‑to‑day support for Windows and macOS endpoints. The role blends traditional end‑user assistance with exposure to modern automation, AI‑assisted troubleshooting, and enterprise ITSM tools, offering a solid foundation for a career in IT support.

Responsibilities

• Install, update and uninstall applications on Windows and macOS devices.
• Troubleshoot operating‑system, application and connectivity issues.
• Handle ticket triage, resolution tracking and documentation using Freshservice or a similar ITSM tool.
• Assist with software packaging, deployment, patch management and compliance checks.
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini to research problems, draft documentation and improve productivity.
• Support testing of automation workflows in Power Automate and create simple PowerShell or shell scripts.

Eligibility

• Graduated in 2026 with a B.E or B.Tech in Computer Science, IT or a related field.
• 0–1 year of relevant experience (freshers welcome).
• Basic knowledge of Windows and macOS administration.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra ID concepts.
• Hands‑on experience using AI tools for technical assistance.
