About the role

YipitData is seeking a Backend Engineer to design, build, and maintain highly scalable data pipelines and services for its Data Feeds team. The position is fully remote within India, with standard hours from 8 am to 5 pm IST, and focuses on delivering reliable, high‑performance data infrastructure that powers analytics for investment and enterprise customers.

Responsibilities

Develop, optimise, and operate large‑scale data pipelines for both structured and unstructured data.
Maintain and enhance existing data systems to ensure high availability and reliability.
Collaborate on building an extensible, high‑performance data architecture.
Provide robust data services to internal stakeholders across product, engineering, and analytics teams.
Integrate third‑party data sources and ensure seamless data ingestion.
Enforce data‑governance, security, and compliance best practices.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from a Tier 1/2 institution.
