About the role

Citi is looking for a seasoned .NET Developer to join its Markets Operations team in India. The position is hybrid, combining office work at the DLF Cybercity campus with remote days. You will build and maintain both web‑based and classic Windows applications that support critical market‑data flows, regulatory reporting, and risk analytics for the Kazakhstan securities market.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and sustain responsive web interfaces using C#, .NET (Framework & Core), Angular, TypeScript and CSS.
  • Create and enhance Windows desktop applications with Delphi RAD Studio.
  • Build backend micro‑services in .NET Core and Java Spring Boot, following micro‑service design patterns.
  • Architect relational database schemas, write PL/SQL and T‑SQL stored procedures for MS SQL and Oracle.
  • Integrate multiple external APIs and automate workflows that move market data, FX, repo and broker deals.
  • Maintain code quality, version‑control hygiene and SDLC artifacts, and support CI/CD pipelines using Tekton, TeamCity, GitHub, uDeploy and SonarQube.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, provide effort estimates, and resolve defects during UAT.

Eligibility

  • 4‑8 years of professional software development experience.
  • Strong hands‑on expertise with .NET Core, .NET Framework, C# and Angular.
