About the role

Xylem is seeking an experienced Electronics Hardware Engineer to design, develop, and validate embedded and power‑electronics hardware for water‑technology products. The role involves schematic capture, PCB review, prototype bring‑up, and collaboration with firmware, mechanical and systems teams at its Vadodara facility.

Responsibilities

Conduct feasibility studies and support hardware architecture for embedded and power‑electronics products.
Design, develop, test, and validate circuits, subsystems, and complete hardware modules.
Create schematics, select components, review PCB layouts and integrate hardware using Altium and other ECAD tools.
Simulate and analyse power‑electronics circuits with Altium, PSIM and OrCAD.
Participate in prototype bring‑up, debugging, verification, FMEA and risk assessments.
Prepare design documents, test reports, verification records and engineering change documentation.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics & Communication or a related field.
5‑10 years of hands‑on experience in embedded and power‑electronics hardware design.
Proficiency with Altium, PSIM, OrCAD and laboratory equipment such as oscilloscopes and power analyzers.
