Trainee Associate Software Engineer

About the role

WalkingTree Technologies is hiring fresh graduates as Trainee Associate Software Engineers. The role focuses on building Python‑based applications using frameworks like Django and Flask, working with SQL databases, REST APIs, and micro‑service architectures. Candidates will collaborate in Agile teams, participate in code reviews, and gain exposure to LLM and NLP technologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python applications and scripts.
• Implement web services using Django or Flask and integrate them with SQL databases.
• Work with data structures, Git version control, and RESTful APIs.
• Contribute to micro‑service based solutions and ensure code quality through reviews.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and document technical solutions.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and stay updated with emerging technologies.

Eligibility

• Fresh graduate (any degree) with a strong foundation in Python.
• Basic understanding of Django, Flask, SQL and Git.
• Familiarity with data structures and API concepts.
• Analytical mindset and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new technologies, including LLM and NLP.
