About the role

Visa’s Corporate IT team is seeking a senior software engineer to build intelligent automation using Python and generative AI. The position is based in Bangalore, requires a minimum of three days on‑site each week, and focuses on creating reusable scripts, AI‑driven workflows, and cross‑platform automation for QA and operational tasks.

Responsibilities

Design, code, test and maintain Python‑based automation solutions.
Develop GenAI‑powered agents, knowledge‑retrieval tools and LLM‑driven workflows.
Integrate automation with APIs, telemetry sources and enterprise platforms.
Create functional, regression and integration test suites with proper logging and audit trails.
Document code, implementation guides and test evidence for hand‑off.
Collaborate with QA, security, endpoint and operations teams to convert manual processes into scalable automation.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
3‑5 years of professional experience in Python development.
Hands‑on experience building solutions with Generative AI, Large Language Models or AI agents.
Basic familiarity with Windows and macOS system internals.

Skills

Strong Python programming.
Experience with GenAI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Semantic Kernel, CrewAI, AutoGen).
Proficiency in API integration, JSON handling and source‑control workflows.
Understanding of prompt engineering and retrieval‑augmented generation.
Knowledge of testing, debugging, logging and technical documentation.
