About the role
Visa is seeking an Analyst in Client Consulting focused on AI to help its payment‑industry clients solve business problems using data science and analytics. The role blends consulting, project management and technical delivery, requiring collaboration across multicultural teams and occasional on‑site presence.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement analytical and AI‑driven solutions for client challenges in payments and finance.
- Own end‑to‑end project delivery, from planning and coordination to final hand‑off.
- Translate complex data outputs into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.
- Support business development, portfolio optimization, product launches and loyalty initiatives.
- Work effectively with cross‑functional, multicultural teams and adapt communication for varied audiences.
Eligibility
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience with a bachelor’s degree or an advanced degree (Master’s, MBA, PhD, etc.).
- Hands‑on experience with large data sets and modern distributed systems such as Hadoop, Hive/SQL, and Apache Spark.
- Demonstrated project‑management and agile methodology experience.
- Strong consulting or product‑ownership background in payments, financial services or related domains.
Skills
- Proficiency in Python or R for building reproducible analytic pipelines.
- Experience with version‑control tools like Git/GitHub.
- Data‑visualisation expertise using Tableau, Power BI or similar.
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities for client presentations.
- Familiarity with generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) for daily workflows.
