About the role
United Airlines' Customer Strategy & Innovation team is looking for a data‑driven intern to support analytics initiatives. You will extract data, build dashboards, and help translate insights into actionable recommendations while gaining exposure to airline operations.
Responsibilities
- Extract and analyse data from relational databases and reporting platforms.
- Identify problems, perform root‑cause analysis and present findings to decision‑makers.
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards and visualisations for business stakeholders.
- Assist in building predictive models and summarise results for leadership.
- Prepare presentation decks that communicate analytical outcomes.

Eligibility
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Legal authorization to work in India without sponsorship.
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- SQL querying experience (Teradata, MS SQL Server or Databricks a plus).
- Python programming for data analysis.
- Familiarity with data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau or Spotfire.
