About the role
Twilio is looking for a Phone Numbers Operations Specialist II to support global customers who need to port phone numbers, procure short codes and Sender IDs, and obtain numbers for their applications. The position is remote‑first within India and works as part of the Super Network’s Product Operations team.
Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries received by email, ensuring a smooth experience throughout the phone‑number lifecycle.
- Diagnose and resolve basic‑to‑intermediate product or service issues, escalating advanced cases when needed.
- Log interactions, tag and categorize tickets, and maintain accurate operational records.
- Process carrier partner notifications and coordinate with internal teams to close complex issues.
- Collaborate with communications partners and industry players to troubleshoot and build trust.
Eligibility
- 4–6 years of experience working with global customers in an operations or customer‑facing role, preferably in e‑commerce or telecommunications.
- Willingness to work flexible, rotational schedules and occasional travel for in‑person meetings.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a detail‑oriented, organized approach.
Skills
- Basic SQL knowledge for data extraction.
- Understanding of APIs and data‑analytics concepts.
- Empathy for customers and carriers, backed by data‑driven problem solving.
