About the role

Citi is looking for an Oracle EBS GL Functional Consultant to join its Third‑party Source‑to‑Pay technology team in Pune. The role blends functional expertise in Oracle ERP with production‑support responsibilities, ensuring smooth operation of the Procure‑to‑Pay landscape while collaborating with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide end‑to‑end production support for Oracle EBS modules, handling incidents, requests and change requests in line with ITIL processes.
  • Analyse complex functional queries, perform root‑cause investigations and deliver timely resolutions.
  • Prepare functional specifications, design documents and configuration changes for enhancements and regulatory updates.
  • Coordinate with Oracle Support, vendor teams and internal stakeholders to resolve product bugs and data fixes.
  • Develop and maintain training material, procedural documentation and user‑acceptance testing support.
  • Generate analytical reports and complex SQL/PL‑SQL queries to support business decisions.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent academic qualification.
  • 4‑8 years of hands‑on experience with Oracle ERP, specifically the GL, FA, PA, AP and related P2P modules.
  • Familiarity with Oracle workflows, customization techniques and ITIL support processes.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work independently as well as within a team.

Skills

  • Oracle EBS (R12.1.3 or higher) functional knowledge.
  • Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for data extraction and analysis.
  • Understanding of iSupplier, iProcurement and Oracle data models.
  • Experience using AI‑enabled tools to improve Oracle ERP workflows.
  • Solid problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
