Lead UI Engineer

About the role

Thermo Fisher Scientific is seeking a Lead UI Engineer to drive the creation of high‑performance, scalable web applications. The role involves shaping frontend architecture, building complex user interfaces, and guiding a development team using Angular, React, TypeScript and data‑visualisation tools.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, maintainable frontend applications with Angular and React.
• Define architecture, coding standards, and best‑practice guidelines for the UI team.
• Create reusable UI components, shared libraries, and framework utilities.
• Build interactive, data‑driven visualisations using eCharts.
• Develop responsive interfaces that work across devices, browsers and screen sizes.
• Integrate frontend solutions with backend services using TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS3.

Eligibility

• 12–15 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Angular, React, TypeScript and modern web technologies.
