Software Engineer

About the role

Cisco is looking for a senior Software Engineer to shape its Industrial IoT management platform. You will lead the design, development, and deployment of features that connect rugged devices, sensors and networking gear, delivering a secure and intuitive experience for operational‑technology users.

Responsibilities

• Drive the IIoT management strategy by creating user‑focused solutions for network and security management.
• Design, develop and maintain complex software components using ReactJS, Angular and Java.
• Integrate data from sensors, devices and applications to enable real‑time monitoring and analytics.
• Participate in full‑cycle development: grooming, design, implementation, testing and release.
• Conduct code reviews, mentor junior engineers and champion best‑practice standards.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and apply agile methodologies to improve delivery speed.

Eligibility

• Minimum 9 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in ReactJS, Angular and Java.
• Hands‑on experience with Industrial IoT concepts and device integration.
• Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor team members.
