Senior Product Engineer (Full Stack)

About the role

Doctronic, an AI‑driven health platform, is looking for a senior full‑stack product engineer to design and deliver patient‑facing experiences, AI‑powered clinical workflows and supporting backend services. The role is remote and part of a small, high‑autonomy engineering team that ships end‑to‑end features across web, mobile and cloud.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement patient onboarding, AI consultation, health record, prescription and follow‑up interfaces using Next.js and React.
• Integrate AI consultation outputs with clinical workflows and partner systems.
• Translate new AI or clinical capabilities into secure, compliant product features.
• Build internal tools and integrations for clinicians and healthcare partners.
• Enhance performance, accessibility, privacy and reliability of web and mobile applications.
• Leverage coding agents to automate repetitive tasks, accelerate development and maintain high code quality.

Eligibility

• Minimum five years of professional experience delivering full‑stack user‑facing products.
• Proven ability to work across both frontend and backend components, with depth in at least one area.
• Strong product judgment and attention to UI/UX quality.
• Experience directing AI coding agents or similar automation tools.
• Track record of implementing privacy, security, accessibility and reliability safeguards.
• Effective communication with cross‑functional teams including clinical, design, AI and operations.

Skills

• Next.js, React, TypeScript, JavaScript for the frontend.
• Python and FastAPI for backend services.
• Docker and AWS ECS for containerised deployment.
• MariaDB, SQLAlchemy, Redis, Celery for data and task handling.
• Experience with mobile platforms (iOS/Android) a plus.
• Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and healthcare data standards.
