Frontend Software Engineer (Internal)

About the role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Tether, you will craft high‑performance web and desktop interfaces that bring AI‑driven features to a global fintech audience. Working remotely from the UK, you will use React, Preact and TypeScript to build responsive, reliable user experiences for products such as USDT, Tether Power and Tether Data.

Responsibilities

• Implement new features and resolve bugs with an emphasis on speed, reliability and user satisfaction.
• Maintain a clean, well‑tested codebase through consistent standards, peer reviews and automated testing.
• Design and develop responsive, high‑performance UI components and manage application state across platforms.
• Collaborate with remote, globally distributed teams and communicate progress in clear English.

Eligibility

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience building production‑scale frontend applications.
• Proven expertise with React or Preact and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Strong knowledge of state‑management solutions such as Redux, Redux Toolkit or Zustand.
• Experience writing modular, maintainable and well‑tested code.
• Ability to debug complex frontend issues and optimise performance.
• Excellent remote‑work communication skills.
