About the role

Sia Partners is seeking a senior backend engineer to design and deliver Python‑based microservices that power AI‑enabled SaaS products. The role is based in Mumbai and involves close collaboration with data scientists, DevOps and product teams to build scalable, cloud‑native solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimise Python backend services, primarily using Flask.
  • Integrate AI/ML models from data‑science teams into production APIs.
  • Containerise applications with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes.
  • Manage PostgreSQL and MongoDB databases for high‑performance data access.
  • Provision cloud resources on GCP/AWS/Azure using Terraform and Helm.
  • Drive CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and mentor junior engineers.
