About the role

Ideas2IT is looking for an experienced Python Developer to design and build high‑performance backend components, micro‑services and APIs that power client‑facing applications. The role focuses on cloud‑native development, data processing and integration using Python and modern tooling.

Responsibilities

  • Develop reusable, scalable Python modules and micro‑services for enterprise applications.
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs using Flask, Django or similar frameworks.
  • Collaborate with cloud teams to deploy services on AWS or other cloud platforms.
  • Write clean, testable code following PEP standards and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Optimize database interactions with SQL and manage schema migrations.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to architectural discussions.

Eligibility

  • Minimum 4 years of professional Python development experience (up to 8 years).
  • Strong grasp of object‑oriented design and software engineering principles.
  • Hands‑on experience with cloud services (AWS preferred) and containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes).

Skills

Core Python (3.6+), Flask/Django.SQL and relational databases.API lifecycle management.Message queuing (RabbitMQ or similar).Version control (Git) and Agile workflows.Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud deployment.
