About the role

CrowdStrike is looking for a Backend Engineer II to join its Data Onboarding team in Pune. The role focuses on building large‑scale ingestion pipelines that handle petabytes of data daily, enabling customers to bring third‑party data into the NG‑SIEM platform.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement petabyte‑scale data onboarding services with sub‑second latency.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX designers and data scientists to deliver end‑to‑end solutions.
  • Solve distributed‑system challenges such as high availability, reliability, performance and cost optimisation.
  • Write production‑grade code in Go and maintain globally available, multi‑region services.
  • Participate in cross‑team platform initiatives and contribute to broader product road‑maps.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 4 years of experience building and maintaining SaaS‑style software products.

Skills

  • Proficiency in Go.
  • Experience with a transactional database such as PostgreSQL or Microsoft SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with streaming platforms like Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Understanding of distributed system design and optimisation.
