Senior Product Engineer (Frontend)

About the role

Sequence is looking for a senior front‑end engineer to shape its AI‑powered revenue platform. You will own end‑to‑end feature delivery, from concept through production, building highly visual, configurable workflows that finance teams rely on daily. The position is fully remote and reports to the product engineering group.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement flexible AI‑driven workflow components that translate natural‑language rules into actionable UI elements.
• Build human‑in‑the‑loop interfaces such as approval chains, escalation flows, and dashboards with meticulous visual fidelity.
• Contribute to core product features like contract intake automation, e‑signature experiences, and role‑based access controls.
• Collaborate closely with design, product, and backend teams to ship high‑quality web applications.
• Participate in architecture decisions and mentor junior engineers as the team scales.

Eligibility

• 5+ years of experience building and shipping front‑end applications in product‑focused companies.
• Strong proficiency with React, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript.
• Excellent eye for visual detail and ability to translate UX designs into pixel‑perfect code.
• Customer‑centric mindset with a willingness to understand business problems.
• Comfort with ambiguity, rapid iteration, and taking ownership of production‑critical features.
• Clear, thoughtful communication skills.
