About the role

Sarvam is looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to keep the backbone of its AI products running smoothly. Based in Bengaluru, you will manage daily operations such as deployments, provisioning, access control, incident response, and cost queries, while continuously automating repetitive tasks.

Responsibilities

Own end‑to‑end infrastructure operations for all Sarvam products, handling deployments, provisioning requests and environment issues.
Respond to incidents, create runbooks or post‑mortems, and resolve root causes.
Automate manual workflows using pipelines, Terraform modules, templates or self‑service tools.
Develop AI‑assisted automations that triage alerts, summarize incidents or answer infrastructure queries.
Maintain security hygiene by patching images, rotating credentials and managing secrets.
Ensure reliability by keeping dashboards, alerts and SLOs accurate and managing cost.
Participate in on‑call rotations.

Eligibility

2–5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, infrastructure or backend engineering.
Demonstrated ability to build infrastructure projects outside of ticketed work (e.g., homelab, open‑source contribution).
Strong command‑line skills on Linux, including process and networking basics.
Hands‑on experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including deployment and debugging.
Proficiency in scripting with Python, Go or Bash.
Basic knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines.
Track record of automating repetitive tasks through scripts, bots or operators.
Experience using LLMs or AI agents for real‑world automation.
