About the role

Salesforce is looking for a System Analyst to join its Data 360 & Visualization Platform Operations team in India. The role focuses on production support, incident response, and platform administration for Salesforce’s analytics products, ensuring stability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Own escalation handling across global time zones, set priorities, route cases and keep stakeholders updated.
Lead incident response, perform first‑line assessment and coordinate with SREs for resolution.
Conduct root‑cause analysis, close RCAs and implement fixes for recurring platform issues.
Design and deploy proactive monitors, alerts and automation to improve observability.
Develop declarative solutions (Flows, validation rules), manage data loads, sandbox administration and role‑hierarchy design.
Create and maintain lightweight SOPs, support reference manuals and knowledge articles for Tier‑1/2 teams.

Eligibility

Bachelor's degree in computer science, business or a related field.
0‑3 years of hands‑on platform or systems support experience in an enterprise environment.
Strong familiarity with native Salesforce functionality and best practices.
Ability to manage escalations, conduct incident response and drive RCA completion.
Effective written and verbal communication skills for a distributed global team.

Skills

Salesforce platform knowledge, including Flow and validation rules.
Data loading, troubleshooting complex configuration issues.
Incident, problem and change management processes.
Basic coding ability (Apex, Python, SQL) for automation and monitoring.
Understanding of SOX compliance and security controls.
