About the role

HP’s Print Planning Excellence team is looking for a Planning Process System Consultant to oversee demand‑and‑supply planning for its Print, S&G and Personal Systems businesses. Based in Bangalore, you will work closely with business planners, IT and cross‑functional partners to keep planning data accurate, resolve system issues quickly and drive continuous improvement of planning processes.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily, weekly and periodic demand‑supply planning cycles and ensure timely completion.
  • Analyse planning data, spot exceptions, and communicate potential business impacts.
  • Monitor key supply‑chain KPIs such as forecast accuracy and demand‑supply alignment.
  • Identify gaps, perform root‑cause analysis and coordinate remediation with stakeholders.
  • Support testing, validation and rollout of enhancements to SAP IBP and related planning tools.
  • Maintain documentation, master‑data quality and process controls.

Eligibility

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, IT or a related field (B.Tech, B.E, MCA preferred).
  • 1‑3 years of experience in supply‑chain, demand or supply planning.
  • Hands‑on exposure to SAP IBP, SAP APO or similar planning systems.
  • Strong analytical mindset and problem‑solving ability.

Skills

  • Demand‑and‑supply planning fundamentals.
  • Working knowledge of SAP IBP, SAP HANA, Ariba and Enterprise Business Warehouse.
  • Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Power BI, SQL, MS Access or VBA is a plus.
  • Ability to analyse data, monitor KPIs and produce clear reports.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Experience with testing, UAT and implementation support.
