About the role

Rockwell Automation is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join its hybrid team in Pune. The role focuses on building, testing, and deploying reliable cloud‑native software, while supporting operations and improving platform performance.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain dashboards that provide operational visibility.
Create automated runbooks and scripts to handle common support escalations.
Act as the operations liaison, communicating with developers and customers.
Document incidents, conduct post‑mortems, and share knowledge across the team.
Develop and monitor metrics to drive performance, security, and process improvements.
Manage CI/CD pipelines and tooling, and guide teammates on best practices.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Applications or a comparable field.
Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, and software engineering principles.

Skills

Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, Go and Bash.
Hands‑on experience with cloud platforms like AWS or Microsoft Azure.
Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes) and infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Terraform).
Experience using Git and GitHub for version control and workflow automation.
Understanding of CI/CD processes and CloudOps/SRE practices.
