About the role

The Workspace Digital Journeys team at LSEG is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and build both front‑end and back‑end components for the LSEG Workspace SaaS platform. The role focuses on creating reusable, scalable solutions that improve migration, onboarding and feature rollout experiences for customers.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain web and desktop applications, with 70‑80% effort on front‑end and 20‑30% on back‑end.
  • Design, implement and document REST APIs and ensure high performance and security.
  • Lead architectural decisions for front‑end and back‑end, aligning with business goals.
  • Collaborate with product, design, DevOps and quality engineers to deliver end‑to‑end features.
  • Participate in sprint planning, estimation and roadmap activities.
  • Set up monitoring, alerting and optimise cloud infrastructure for cost and performance.
