Frontend Engineer, Ads Campaign Manager

About the role

Reddit is hiring a mid‑level Frontend Engineer to create and improve the advertiser‑facing campaign management interface on ads.reddit.com. The position is fully remote within the United States and involves taking ownership of medium‑sized frontend features from design through deployment while working closely with product, design, and backend teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop intuitive, accessible UI components that enable advertisers to build and manage campaigns.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to translate business needs into scoped frontend projects.
• Lead the technical design, implementation, testing, and release of medium‑scale frontend initiatives.
• Communicate progress, dependencies, and risks early to keep cross‑functional partners aligned.
• Conduct code reviews and document architectural decisions to support team knowledge sharing.
• Enhance performance, fix bugs, and contribute reusable components and patterns.

Eligibility

• At least 3 years of software engineering experience, with a minimum of 2 years focused on frontend development.
• Proven track record of building and maintaining production‑grade web applications.
• Ability to decompose complex projects, evaluate trade‑offs, and deliver solutions independently.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative problem‑solving mindset.
• Experience writing maintainable code, testing, and participating in code reviews.
