About the role

Philips is looking for an enthusiastic apprentice to join its Product Configuration Management team in Chennai. You will work closely with stakeholders to build and distribute product catalogs using Conga CPQ and SOFON, validate pricing and sales text, and support release processes. The role is ideal for active students in engineering streams who want hands‑on experience in data‑driven product operations.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain product catalogs in Conga CPQ and SOFON.
  • Design validation rules for test models, pricing structures, and sales copy.
  • Establish and run processes for catalog releases across business units and markets.
  • Participate in functional testing before and after each release and during change cycles.
  • Translate business requirements into functional models with limited direct interaction, collaborating closely with the advisor role.
  • Apply analytical thinking and data‑analysis tools to interpret results and present findings clearly.
  • Proactively identify and solve problems, contributing to process‑improvement initiatives with a focus on data quality.

Eligibility

  • Active student enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme in System Engineering, Production, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
  • Graduation batch 2025 or 2026.
  • 0–1 years of relevant experience or internship exposure.
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive problem‑solving mindset.

Skills

  • Hands‑on experience or academic exposure to Conga CPQ and SOFON.
  • Data analysis and interpretation capabilities.
  • Familiarity with AI models and prompt engineering concepts.
  • Understanding of operations services processes and data‑management tools.
  • Ability to work autonomously within defined procedures.
