About the role

Eaton is hiring fresh IT Apprentices for its Master Data Management team in Pune. The 12‑month program offers hands‑on exposure to modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Medallion Architecture and Generative AI, while you work alongside senior data engineers and architects.

Responsibilities

Assist in building and maintaining MDM solutions on cloud platforms, primarily Snowflake.
Help implement Medallion Architecture layers (Bronze, Silver, Gold) for structured data pipelines.
Write, tune and optimise SQL queries for data transformation and validation.
Participate in data‑modeling discussions and support data‑quality initiatives.
Contribute to data pipelines, Streamlit apps and workflow automation.
Prototype GenAI use‑cases for intelligent data matching and enrichment.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering or a related field.
Graduates of the 2025 or 2026 batch (or equivalent).

Skills

Fundamental SQL knowledge (joins, aggregations, transformations).
Understanding of data‑warehousing concepts.
Familiarity with Snowflake or any cloud data platform (preferred).
Basic grasp of data‑architecture and Medallion Architecture.
Interest in Generative AI concepts.
Exposure to ETL/ELT processes and Python scripting.
