Associate Engineer

About the role

OTIS is inviting applications for the position of Associate Engineer at its technical facility in Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

Responsibilities

• Reading and analyzing system software requirements to formulate comprehensive test design approaches.
• Developing test software aligned with defined coding standards and conducting rigorous system validation tests.
• Leveraging and contributing to existing automation framework development.
• Supporting product testing, defect triaging, and troubleshooting across concept, design, validation, and production phases.
• Interacting frequently with local and global project management teams across multiple time zones.

Eligibility

• Bachelor of Engineering (B.E), Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), or Master in Computer Applications (MCA).
• 0 to 2 years of software testing experience in a product-based company environment.

Skills

• Test Design: Ability to produce detailed test cases based on high-level and detailed software requirement specifications.
• Test Automation: Experience in creating and maintaining automated test scripts and leveraging existing test automation frameworks.
• Programming Languages: Familiarity with one or more scripting/programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
