About the role

OpenGov is looking for an Associate Implementation Engineer to join its Professional Services team in Pune, India. You will work directly with government customers to configure the OpenGov cloud platform, migrate their data, and ensure a smooth go‑live experience. The position blends hands‑on technical delivery with a consultative, customer‑first mindset.

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, configure and test OpenGov cloud software to match documented government requirements.
  • Manage end‑to‑end data migration, including schema design, ETL tool setup and custom scripting.
  • Validate customer data, map it to platform standards, and perform thorough testing before launch.
  • Interact with finance, budgeting and IT staff of public‑sector clients, guiding them through the implementation journey.
  • Identify pain points, propose process improvements and collaborate with product, data and project‑management teams.
  • Troubleshoot configuration and data issues, driving timely resolutions.
