About the role

PFI Innovation Centre India is hiring fresh engineering graduates as Associate Software Engineers. The position is full‑time, hybrid and based in Gurgaon, India. You will build and maintain modern applications using Python, Java and related frameworks while following best coding practices.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and test code following current design patterns and architectural standards.
Collaborate with product owners and tech leads to translate feature stories into robust solutions.
Write unit, integration and functional automation tests and address issues raised by QA.
Continuously learn emerging technologies and apply them to project work.
Work on moderately scoped problems that require analysis of data and system factors.
Utilise frameworks such as React, Springboot and Node.js to deliver full‑stack features.

Eligibility

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.
0–2 years of hands‑on experience with AWS, Python and Java, preferably in finance technology.
Familiarity with agile methodologies and test‑driven development.
Strong problem‑solving, communication and teamwork abilities.

Skills

Python and Java programming.
AWS core services (e.g., CloudWatch, Code‑Deploy).
SQL/JSON data handling and NoSQL or relational databases.
Front‑end technologies: React and JavaScript.
Back‑end frameworks: Springboot, Node.js, micro‑service design.
Version control (GitHub/Bitbucket) and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
