About the role

Join Nokia Bell Labs in Bangalore as a Student Intern focusing on research for energy‑efficient AI and wireless communication workloads. You will explore hardware‑aware algorithms, neuromorphic computing, and domain‑specific accelerators, contributing to early‑stage concepts and experiments.

Responsibilities

  • Investigate energy‑efficient compute strategies for AI‑driven wireless systems.
  • Study neuromorphic approaches and assess their relevance to wireless workloads.
  • Build prototypes, models and benchmarks using Python and C.
  • Explore accelerator ideas, including RISC‑V‑based designs and custom instruction extensions.
  • Potentially contribute Verilog code, micro‑architecture studies, or architectural simulations.
  • Compare conventional AI compute with low‑power, event‑driven techniques.
