About the role

Acron Aviation is looking for a Software Engineering Intern to assist in creating and maintaining the avionics databases that power its products. The intern will work on monthly database generation, learn the associated software tools, and contribute to process automation and documentation.

Responsibilities

  • Follow the monthly avionics database generation workflow, preparing and adjusting source data such as Jeppesen files.
  • Run generation tools in the development environment and deliver completed databases to the Displays team on schedule.
  • Document any issues encountered and keep process documentation up‑to‑date.
  • Support troubleshooting, maintenance, and improvement of the database generation tools.
  • Identify and prototype automation opportunities for manual steps.
  • Assist the Displays software team with development and testing tasks as needed.

Eligibility
