Software Engineer Intern

About the role

Enterpret is looking for a motivated Software Engineer Intern to join its Bengaluru office. You will work on building and scaling backend services that power an AI‑native customer intelligence platform, gaining hands‑on experience with serverless architectures and real‑time data processing.

Responsibilities

• Participate in system design discussions and contribute ideas for backend architecture.
• Develop scalable serverless components on AWS to handle large volumes of customer feedback.
• Integrate AI‑driven features into backend workflows and support real‑time inference pipelines.
• Monitor and troubleshoot services under heavy load, fixing edge‑case bugs.
• Build proof‑of‑concept prototypes for new AI functionalities.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to ensure code resilience and performance.

Eligibility

• Must be able to work onsite in Bangalore.
• Pursuing a Computer Science or Engineering degree from a Tier‑1 college.
• Strong fundamentals in programming and data structures.
• At least one prior internship or relevant project in backend/AI development.
• Interest in distributed systems, serverless computing, and AI‑powered products.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Skills

• Proficiency in a modern programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js).
• Experience with AWS services and serverless frameworks.
• Understanding of backend architecture and scalability concepts.
• Ability to debug complex systems and optimize performance.
• Familiarity with AI/ML pipelines is a plus.
• Open‑source contributions or personal AI projects are advantageous.
