Software Engineer in Test

About the role

As a Software Engineer in Test at Mastercard Pune, you will be part of the Quality Engineering team driving test automation, building robust test frameworks, and ensuring high‑quality releases for payment solutions. You will collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and program managers to embed quality throughout the software lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for web UI, APIs, and backend services.
• Integrate test automation with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo.
• Partner with development teams to improve testability, reliability, and performance of applications.
• Implement acceptance and integration tests, leveraging Java, Selenium WebDriver, JUnit/TestNG, and related frameworks.
• Utilize version control (Git/Bitbucket) and build tools (Maven) to manage test code.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of quality processes.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related engineering discipline.
• Graduation batch years 2023‑2026.
• 0‑3 years of relevant experience or fresh graduate status.

Skills
