About the role

Maersk is seeking a Software Engineer to create, maintain and operate modern enterprise applications. The role spans frontend, backend and integration layers, requiring end‑to‑end ownership from design through production support.

Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable web applications using React, JavaScript/TypeScript and Java Spring Boot.
Build and expose REST APIs, integrate with Microsoft Graph, Azure services and other enterprise systems.
Model data and optimise queries in PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
Implement authentication and authorisation with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect and Microsoft Entra ID.
Ensure observability by adding logging, metrics and dashboards with Prometheus, Grafana and Loki.
Write clean, well‑tested code, create unit/integration/API tests and participate in code reviews.
Automate build, test and deployment pipelines and troubleshoot production issues.
