About the role

LSEG is looking for an Associate Data Scientist to join its Bangalore hub. You will design and build quantitative models, automate data pipelines, and apply machine‑learning techniques to improve financial data products. The role involves close collaboration with business, content and product teams to turn large‑scale analytics challenges into actionable solutions.

Responsibilities

Handle, process and program large volumes of entity data.
Develop automated ingestion pipelines and load data into relational databases.
Analyse legal entity content to uncover patterns and trends.
Build, refine and run quantitative models, including machine‑learning prototypes.
Create visualisations, proof‑of‑concepts and pipeline tools for product development.
Partner with development groups to deploy analytics solutions and support internal stakeholders.

Eligibility

Higher education in Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or Computer Science, complemented by a data‑science certification.
Demonstrated ability to communicate technical insights to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
Lean / Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification (or in progress) and experience in project or process optimisation.

Skills
