AI/ML Engineer

About the role

IQVIA is seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer to join its technical operations center in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India. The role involves transforming complex data into Healthcare-grade AI frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Research Translation: Guide the direct transformation of algorithmic research into production-viable functional software prototypes focused on human health data.
• Production Algorithm Engineering: Design, build, train, and maintain production-grade algorithms designed to analyze complex datasets and extract meaningful patterns.
• Pharma Product Optimization: Frame and deploy specialized, fit-for-purpose machine learning experiments and workflow tools targeted at answering global pharmaceutical questions.
• Model Validation & Quality: Direct the execution of exhaustive software test runs, metrics evaluations, and validation checkpoints to guarantee model stability before client delivery.
• Consultative Technical Delivery: Provide deep technical consulting to internal and external corporate stakeholders, contributing to proposal definitions and driving final system automation pipelines.
• Collaborative Co-Development: Work alongside core Machine Learning Research Scientists and Software Engineers to design and iterate on next-generation proprietary intelligence tools.

Eligibility

• Possession of a completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Machine Learning, Statistics, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a closely related technical field.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience designing, structuring, and executing production-level machine learning algorithms.
• Working proficiency in one or more core languages including Python, Java, C++, R, or Go.
• Comprehensive experience parsing, cleaning, and modeling highly complex, multi-dimensional, real-world data environments.
