Associate Application Support Engineer

About the role

Lighthouse is hiring an Associate Application Support Engineer at Bengaluru, an excellent opportunity for B.E / MCA freshers with 0–2 years of experience who enjoy application support, SQL and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with IT and end users to holistically design and own support for Line of Business applications.
• Proactively look for ways to improve uptime, alerting and efficiency of systems.
• Coordinate across departments on software patching and upgrades to ensure client success.
• Work with Product teams to evaluate and advance existing technologies and recommend enhancements or work-arounds.
• Author standard documentation and functional/technical specifications.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s of Engineering (B.E) / MCA in computer science, a related field or comparable experience.
• 0 – 2 years of experience in Engineering, Technology or a similar function.
• Intermediate SQL query knowledge; good to have SQL database design and administration, eDiscovery tools (e.g. Relativity), Linux, VMware ESXi/Vcenter and SAN/NAS storage understanding.

• Strong analytics and communication, ability to explain complex ideas to non-technical audiences, excellent customer service and willingness to be part of an on-call rotation.
