About the role

Kyndryl is looking for a Linux DevOps Engineer to design, build and operate high‑volume Linux infrastructure, drive system hardening, and champion cloud‑native solutions. You will work on complex server projects, automate deployments and mentor teammates while ensuring security and compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead Linux server projects, focusing on hardening, security and compliance.
  • Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Ansible, Azure DevOps, Packer, Python and YAML.
  • Integrate on‑premise and legacy workloads with cloud architectures.
  • Mentor junior engineers and communicate technical strategies to stakeholders.
  • Refactor legacy applications to run on modern cloud and mobile platforms.

Eligibility

  • Proven experience managing complex Linux environments.
  • Strong problem‑solving, critical‑thinking and communication skills.
  • Customer‑focused mindset with a growth‑oriented attitude.

Skills

  • Deep knowledge of Linux system administration.
  • Hands‑on automation with Ansible, Azure DevOps pipelines and Packer.
  • Scripting in Python and YAML for infrastructure as code.
  • Expertise in security hardening and compliance standards.
  • Understanding of cloud architecture and migration patterns.
