About the role

Kyndryl is looking for a senior DevOps Engineer to lead automation and modernization of enterprise middleware across hybrid cloud and on‑premise environments. The position is based in Greater Noida and offers a partially remote work model.

Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain automation frameworks for middleware provisioning, configuration, patching and decommissioning using Ansible, Python and YAML.
  • Build reusable, self‑healing workflows for IBM WebSphere, Liberty, IHS, Apache Tomcat and JBoss EAP.
  • Create and manage CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins, embedding security and governance controls.
  • Oversee multi‑environment operations, including clustering, HA, SSL/TLS, load‑balancing and performance tuning.
  • Automate middleware workloads on Microsoft Azure, hybrid cloud and VMware environments, leveraging Aria Automation and Operations.
  • Implement monitoring, log aggregation and alerting using tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, ELK or Grafana.

Eligibility

  • Proven experience administering enterprise application servers (IBM WAS, Liberty, IHS, Tomcat, JBoss) on Linux/Windows.
  • Strong scripting skills in Ansible, Python, PowerShell and Bash.
  • Hands‑on experience with CI/CD tools and version control (Git).
  • Solid understanding of monitoring, security and networking concepts for middleware platforms.
