Software Engineer

About the role

Ingram Micro is seeking a Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain backend services using C# and .NET Core while also creating responsive web applications with React and TypeScript. The role involves building RESTful APIs, handling data access with PostgreSQL, and collaborating in an Agile environment to deliver secure, high‑performance solutions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and APIs with C#/.NET Core and ASP.NET Core.
• Build responsive UI components and web applications using React, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Design, integrate, and troubleshoot RESTful APIs and data‑access layers using PostgreSQL or equivalent databases.
• Write efficient SQL queries, ensure code quality through unit and integration tests, and perform debugging and root‑cause analysis.
• Use Git/Bitbucket for source control, participate in code reviews, and manage artifacts with JFrog Artifactory.
• Engage in Agile ceremonies, collaborate with cross‑functional teams, and adopt CI/CD pipelines and AI‑assisted development tools.

Eligibility

• 1–2 years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in C# and .NET Core/ASP.NET Core.
• Hands‑on experience with React and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and consumption.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Git/Bitbucket and basic unit testing practices.
